About BFH Garage
Who am I? I work in an office job 8-5 Monday thru Friday and do DIY mechanic work on the weekends. I would definitely consider myself an “automotive enthusiast.” If it has four wheels and an engine, I'm interested. NASCAR, Formula One, Spec miata, cone dodging (autocross), it doesn’t matter; I'll watch it all. Fast group drive in the North Georgia Mountains or a track day at a rented racetrack? Sure, I’ll go.
What is a BFH? The concept for BFH Garage came about a few years
ago when a good friend and I were working on my car. Every time we worked
on a project on my car, it seemed like the car was putting up a serious fight
against us. Every job we did ended up requiring the use of a BFH (Big F**kin'
Hammer) at some point during the task. (I'm sure a lot of you DIY mechanics
can relate to that feeling) After a few episodes with the BFH, we started
referring to my garage as the BFH Garage…
Why BFH Garage? I was bored one day and started playing around with a logo for BFH Garage. I have worked on this concept off an on for a while, but I only produced a couple test shirts for myself. Then I got married…
Since getting married, I’ve realized that my car doesn't get the financial
“priority” that it did when I was single. Since performance parts,
forced induction, etc. are expensive; I have decided to get serious about
the BFH Garage project. My goal is to turn it into a secondary source of “play”
money. My wife and I have agreed that ALL proceeds from BFH Garage will go
towards performance parts for my car.
In my opinion, it is hard to beat a Saturday morning in the garage working on cars. Add a few smart-ass friends, good tunes on the radio, and some burgers on the grill and the day will just fly by. I will attempt to bring that same, light-hearted feel to each of our product designs. If you have any suggestions, product ideas or BFH stories that you’d like to share, please email me at info@bfhgarage.com
Thanks for visiting, how about a BFH logo decal for your toolbox?
